Hard on yourself?

Recently I made a mistake at work. I noticed what I did in response to this mistake was to be very hard on myself, berating myself in my mind, “Why did you do that?!” “How could you have forgotten something so important!?”

I had a giant pit in my stomach, which lasted for hours. No matter what I did, it didn’t seem to go away. The bad feeling was an indicator that I needed love in that place. I decided to take a walk so that I could focus on loving myself.

I began the Mirror Exercise and realized I was upset because it seemed God wasn’t forgiving me. I wanted so much for God to come down and say “There, there. It’s ok, everyone makes mistakes. It’ll be alright.“ I wanted God to comfort me because I wasn’t able to do this for myself. I made a new choice and began to imagine telling myself it would be ok, have compassion for myself, and comfort myself. I had to reinforce this new choice and took all the time I needed to do that. Soon, the ache in my stomach dissipated.

It’s time to be gentle with yourself.

Choosing radical compassion for yourself, your Twin Flame, and others in the world is absolutely essential to vibrating to Harmonious Union Consciousness. It’s never appropriate to beat yourself up for having an upset arise to the surface, especially if it’s an upset you believe you already permanently healed. The correct posture is self-love and compassion, and return to doing the Mirror Exercise and go deeper in your self-loving.” - Jeff and Shaleia, Twin Flames: Finding Your Ultimate Lover

The contrast between making mistakes and doing things right is actually a valuable learning experience. It helps us grow, evolve, and become better versions of ourselves. By embracing this contrast instead of being hard on yourself, you open the door to self-compassion, personal growth, and a deeper connection with your Twin Flame.

Being hard on yourself might give you a temporary illusion of control or protection, but in reality, it only perpetuates a cycle of negativity and self-doubt. It creates unnecessary stress and prevents you from fully experiencing the beauty of your journey with your Twin Flame.

So, what would happen if you stopped being hard on yourself?

You would grant yourself the gift of self-acceptance and forgiveness. You would allow yourself to learn and grow without the burden of self-judgment. Embracing self-compassion would create space for love, healing, and a stronger connection with your Twin Flame.

Remember, your Twin Flame is not looking for perfection. They are looking for authenticity, vulnerability, and growth. By acknowledging your mistakes, taking responsibility for them, and learning from them, you show your Twin Flame that you are committed to your personal evolution and the growth of your relationship.

Instead of being hard on yourself, try practicing self-compassion. Treat yourself with the same kindness, understanding, and forgiveness you would offer to your Twin Flame. Recognize that making mistakes is a natural part of being human, and it is through these experiences that we learn, expand, and become more resilient.

When you stop being hard on yourself, you create a space of love and acceptance within yourself. This inner transformation will radiate outwards, positively influencing your relationship with your Twin Flame. It will allow both of you to embrace your imperfections, support each other through challenges, and celebrate your growth together.

So, release the weight of self-judgment and embrace the power of self-compassion. Remember that mistakes do not define you; they are stepping stones on your journey towards self-realization and a deeper connection with your Twin Flame.

Be gentle with yourself, learn from your experiences, and keep moving forward. Trust that your Twin Flame sees your heart, appreciates your efforts, and loves you unconditionally. Embrace the journey with an open heart and an open mind, knowing that every step, whether it be a stumble or a leap, brings you closer to the harmonious union you both desire.

You are deserving of love, forgiveness, and growth. Embrace your journey, embrace yourself, and watch as the magic of your Twin Flame connection unfolds.
