Loving God for God

Jeff and Shaleia have helped many Twin Flames attain Harmonious Twin Flame Union in Twin Flame Ascension School. They teach us how to come into harmony within ourselves, with our relationship with our Creator, and this is how to have harmony with our Twin Flames.

One day in class, they asked a question that resonated deeply with many of their students: "Do you love God for God's sake, or do you love Him for his gifts?"

This question might seem simple on the surface, but it's actually quite profound. Many of us grow up with certain ideas about what it means to love God, and we may not always examine those ideas closely. For some, loving God might mean following certain religious practices or adhering to a set of moral codes. For others, it might mean feeling a sense of gratitude or awe for the wonders of the universe. But do we really love God for God's sake, or are we simply using our concept of God to fulfill our own needs and desires, to ‘get’ our Twin Flame and all the miracles from God?

Jeff and Shaleia's question invites us to look deeper within ourselves and to examine our motivations for loving God. If we truly love God for God's sake, then we are not seeking anything in return. We are not looking for validation or approval from a higher power, and we are not trying to earn our way into heaven or avoid punishment in hell. We simply love God because we recognize the divine spark within ourselves and within all of creation.

We are loving God because God is. And God desires a relationship with us. You don’t love someone unconditionally and then expect something from them, do you? Does it feel good to you when someone only loves you for what you give them?

Of course, loving God for God's sake is not always easy. It requires us to let go of our egoic desires and to surrender to a higher power. It asks us to trust in the divine plan, even when we don't understand it. But when we are able to truly love God for God's sake, we experience a sense of peace and joy that surpasses anything we could ever achieve through our own efforts. We experience true friendship with God. A real, loving unconditional relationship.

So if you're asking yourself whether you love God for God's sake, take some time to reflect on your motivations. Are you seeking something in return for your love, or are you simply offering it freely? By examining these questions honestly, you can deepen your connection to the divine and experience the true meaning of unconditional love.

And this means, you are one step closer to Harmonious Twin Flame Union.
