Feeling Your Feelings

Many people have been taught that suppressing their feelings or numbing their emotions towards their Twin Flame is a sign of success. Some self-proclaimed Twin Flame teachers even suggest shutting off your thoughts and feelings for your Twin altogether! However, this is not true success in your Twin Flame journey. Numbing your feelings is actually a form of spiritual bypassing, where you avoid facing and addressing the trigger, causing the spiritual block to remain in place.

Addressing codependency at the surface level by controlling your behavior will never work, because even if you see what looks like progress, after a short time, you’re always back at your actual base vibration until you decide to heal there. Healing codependency requires love, and you must love yourself where you are hurt, not run away from yourself where you are hurt (*hint: you running away from your hurt feelings is one reason people experience their Twin Flame running from them as a reflection!)

People often numb out due to a lack of tools and resources to deal with challenges. But, eventually, you'll come to a point where you want to heal and do anything to be with your Beloved Twin Flame, and that's where Twin Flame Ascension School can help. The TFAS classes and Ascension Coaches provide guidance to help you feel your deeper emotions safely and with love, teaching you how to truly magnetize your Twin to you.

The Mirror Exercise is a spiritual practice TFAS teaches that purifies your heart so that you can be together with your Twin Flame and end separation. To purify your heart with the Mirror Exercise, you need to first feel your feelings.

Be compassionate with yourself as you heal. If you need to be physically separate from your Twin Flame to heal an unhealthy or toxic relationship pattern, that's okay. But, you should continue to feel all your emotions and work on healing with the intention of improving the relationship. You need to be in harmony with all aspects of yourself to be in harmony with your Twin Flame. Suppressing your fears and hurts will only hinder your progress.

In my own experience, I faced many challenges on my Twin Flame journey. But, to overcome these challenges, I had to feel my emotions and work on healing myself. For a time, I chose to live separately from Josh while I healed a trauma response pattern, but I continued moving through this by feeling all my feelings about him with the intention of healing. I claimed support with the Mind Alignment Process to heal Trauma, and went All-In with my inner work. I never ceased watching Twin Flame Ascension School and I continued my weekly coaching sessions with Laurentiu and Alexandra.

I unpacked all the spiritually backlogged upsets I had not yet healed about him. To do this, I had to feel my feelings: the hurt, pain, anguish, powerlessness, hopelessness, all these feelings were deep down and needed feeling in order to release them with love. Once I got to the end of the back-log, I got caught up and I was able to be free of the pattern that was preventing me from being with Josh. Naturally, this resulted in us living together!

This journey is about purifying your heart so you can be together with your Twin Flame, and they too are healing alongside you in a very real way. You don't have to give up and settle for a life of solitude. There's a way to heal and bring something to your Twin Flame, and that way is the Teachings of Union.
