The 5 Love Languages
Twin Flames and The 5 Love Languages
I was watching Twin Flame Ascension School S7 Class 61: “What Does It Mean To Love Another.” In the class, Jeff and Shaleia describe how you don’t need to have to be in person with someone in order to love them or them to love you, and this includes your Twin Flame.
They used the example of Jesus Christ whom many truly love and feel loved by, but Jesus isn’t physically on Earth and doesn’t have to be in person for you to experience His love. But loving in this way isn’t just for Jesus, but for all.
Then, they talked about loving one of their students, Breann, but they didn’t ever call her or invite her for dinner, the way many people express love. So how does she know they love her? Because she can feel it. The heart knows whether it is loved or not.
One student even talked about how she had shown herself love by getting herself manicures, but this isn't even the way to love herself. The way to love is simple, it’s just to love. And love itself is enough.
Love isn’t what you do, it’s in how you are, in your Being.
You don’t need to prove it. And you certainly don’t need to take from yourself to show someone you love them. A gift given through sacrifice and taking from one’s self isn’t really a gift at all.
So, Your Twin Flame doesn’t need to do anything, doesn’t need to call or text you in order for them to love you, and vice versa. Your love is enough, and so is theirs.
Jeff and Shaleia also touched on the 5 Love Languages in the class. According to this theory, there are five ways in which people express and receive love: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch.
Jeff and Shaleia shared that the 5 Love Languages aren’t necessary in order to express love in your Twin Flame Union, which follows a different set of rules to regular relationships. This is because Twin Flame love is based on Unconditional Love, which is a vibration inside of your heart. Love is not based on the typical work, expectations, and conditions people have with each other currently in the world.
Twin Flames are not about the transactions of soulmate relating, which is what the five love languages framework is based on. Instead, Twin Flames are about unconditional love, which means that there are no conditions or expectations attached to the love they share. Unconditional love is not about doing things for the other person, buying them gifts, or spending quality time with them; it is about simply being present and loving the other person for who they are, regardless of what they do or do not do.
Trying to relate to your Twin Flame through transactions and expectations can also create unnecessary pressure and expectations within a Twin Flame Union. When Twin Flames look outside of themselves to their partner for fulfilling their needs in a particular area, it can create feelings of frustration and resentment since only within will you find the love you’re looking for.
Looking at the other Twin to fulfill your love is the opposite to the unconditional love that Twin Flames embody, as it implies that there are conditions that must be met in order for love to be expressed or received. (I don’t recommend having expectations of your Twin Flame, hint, hint.)
So, how do you love another, including your Twin Flame? Especially since now you’re learning how transactions and expectations aren’t equal to unconditional love. Jeff and Shaleia answer this perfectly. “What does it mean to love another? Love yourself.”
