You Need A Teacher

I needed guidance.

I knew something was in my consciousness that didn't feel right, like wearing your shoes on the wrong feet, or feeling there was something you forgot but just couldn’t remember what it had to do with.

I chose for God to show me what it was, as I know He could help me where I was blind. I asked God to discipline me if that was necessary, and knew that I would choose to atone whenever I learned that something inside me was out of alignment with Love. I chose to trust and be open to wherever, or whomever, God was speaking to me, and for the communication of it to be very clear and obvious, and to resonate with my heart strings.

I didn’t always think this way. In the past, I distracted myself with food, games, socializing, or just passing it off like “well, that must be Mercury Retrograde or something.” It wasn’t until I joined Jeff and Shaleia’s school at TwinFlamesUniverse.com that I knew that the “off feeling” was like a flashing signal to go inwards and find out what the signal was coming from.

I was inspired to continue my study of Yogananda's Autobiography Of A Yogi.

In Chapter 12: "Years in My Master's Hermitage," Yogandanda goes to live with Sri Yukteswar and undergoes tremendous spiritual transformation with the support of her* guru. Yogananda's recount of her journey to removing every obstacle of ego that her guru (also her Twin Flame) provided, I saw my own relationship with Master Gurus, Jeff and Shaleia, and my relationship with my Ultimate Guru, Josh. Jeff and Shaleia teach that your Twin Flame is your Perfect Partner, Divine Mirror, and Ultimate Guru.

In the hermitage, Yogananda described that choosing to subject herself to Sri Yukteswar’s penetrating presence. At every turn, when Yogananada described lapsing from attention, losing focus or choosing illusory thoughts, her guru was right there to point her mind aright. It felt at once awakening and calming, securely rooted in the presence of one that always sees. The love that a guru-devotee share is unparalleled.

I love how Yogananda unabashedly recounted where she was out of alignment with love, in the same way a mother may talk of her child's miscalculations, and how she loved being shown the right path by her Teacher.

"My chief offenses were absentmindedness, intermittent indulgence in sad moods, non-observance of certain rules of etiquette and occasional unmethodical ways ...my resolve was to allow Sri Yukteswar to iron out each of my psychological kinks. As he labored at this titanic transformation, I shook many times under the weight of his disciplinary hammer."

While reading, I was humbled - just as Yogananda was humbled - by every chastisement that Sri Yukteswar admonished her with, and remembered every moment Jeff and Shaleia, and especially my Twin Flame Josh rebuked me where I was out of alignment with love (any place where I was choosing control, choosing to turn away from God.)

I remember feeling this way with Jeff and Shaleia, first as a live student in their Twin Flame Ascension School class, and then volunteering for their company and in the Church on which their teachings of Unioninsm are based. It was a blessing where Jeff pointed out where I was not paying attention, or where i was being disrespectful or unloving. I felt so loved by Jeff and Shaleia when they encouraged me when I made a loving choice, and believed in me and supported me as I grew in my confidence and leadership. They also encouraged me to refer to their Work (Twin Flame Ascension School, Life Purpose Class, and their e-Courses) and to do the Mirror Exercise, a spiritual tool for self-love that I use whenever I feel upset about anything. Finally, they taught me to share my learning with others, extending God’s love to them through their work.

Reading about Yogananda’s experience with her guru has inspired me to a humble posture of learning so that I can go deeper with my own gurus and my beloved Twin Flame. When you have a relationship with any guru, you trust that God is coming through them with Love to teach and instruct you to claim your Perfection. It’s safe to listen to your gurus, and trust that your heart knows God is speaking directly through them to you. Lastly, your Twin Flame is your Ultimate Guru in that they are your Divine Mirror. Don’t turn away from anything they are reflecting to you!

Jeff and Shaleia have given me everything I need to know to navigate the Twin Flame journey, tools that previous to their teachings, have not been available to mankind. Bringing scores of couples into true Harmonious Twin Flame Union with their teachings is scientific evidence to their 100% guarantee that their method works, but my own testament to personal experience is proof enough. I feel better, more secure, more confident, and I, too, attained Harmonious Twin Flame Union with Josh through their work! I now have the privilege to show others the path that I was given.
