A Cozy Update
Today was Josh's first day of culinary school and it was a wash, literally. Classes were cancelled due to heavy rain and wind. He spent most of the day doing homework, and I coached, created content, and cooked lunch. He felt like taking a break, and for him that meant he took charge of dinner: Divine Dish Harisa stew.
We swapped beef for lamb. Josh chose the roasted tomatoes because they added a bit of a smokey flavor to the soup. Truth be told Josh doesn't prefer tomatoes at all, or anything with tomato in ir, but said the cloves in this soup really made it Divine.
His homework was a lot more work than anticipated. Hes learning about the history of food movements in America.
This soup was a nice break and comfort from the hard work and challenge.
I'm so proud of him for following his passions. School will be rigorous and I know it will be challenging. He will be learning a whole lot of information and maybe will use a small fraction of it when he graduates. He will be getting his associates here in Greenville and plans to attain his masters in Michigan.
