Holy Basil

Josh and I have been going deeper in our Life Purpose as Twin Flames in Union. He's been supporting our Union by being in charge of all the food, and he's been loving growing plants out back. Here's our basil plant that absolutely flourished after some rain. We bought it as a tiny plant in the grocery store, and for a while, it looked small and fragile. There was a time I didn't think it would make it. But now, it's one of the most sturdy plants in our back porch garden.

A few friends told me that basil is holy in the Indian culture. I looked up more information about this and found:

In the "Charaka Samhita" the consummate text on Ayurveda written around 1000 BC, Holy Basil is described as “the incomparable one” and is considered to be an incarnation of Tulasi or Vrindavani, a consort of Lord Vishnu. It is considered a symbol of fidelity and helpful in attaining spiritual enlightenment.

I have been going deeper in healing separation consciousness with my Twin, and realizing my true nature as a Divine Being, One with God. In doing so, recently, I've been shedding more layers of arrogance, thinking I know better, and surrendering into more peace. It's safe to surrender into your nature as a Twin Flame, and into letting go of trying to control yourself and anyone or anything around you. When you let go, you let yourself be free, and you can inhale and exhale your Oneness with God. God knows best, and God loves you and is always bringing you towards more peace.

God isn't just within you, but without as well. God comes through your Guru to help you understand your True Nature. Your Guru shows you the way to this, and it's safe to surrender to your Guru's Teachings.

Jeff and Shaleia are my Gurus. I surrender to God through them and their Teachings of Union. In this, I am free. In the Fertile Soil of the Church of Union, my Union can thrive forever. Om Amen.
