The Right Way
You need to know the right way to see your Twin Flame.
I was watching Twin Flame Ascension School class W1c57, "Finding Your Home in God where your TF Union Lives," and Jeff and Shaleia ask a student, "Why do you want to play the soulmate game? You're here to transcend that...and yet you cling to the soulmate path like it's going to help you get your Twin Flame and it never does. It never will. It never has. It's worked for no one. It brings misery...you don't need to cling to that game that all your friend play... Is it safe to let go of your soulmate games?"
A lot of people are looking at your Twin Flame as you would look at any other relationship, and this is not correct. They are your ultimate lover and your Divine mirror, but you're trying to get them through soulmate games.
What are "soulmate games"?
Soulmates are anybody who is not your Twin Flame. There's your Twin Flame, and then there are soulmates – everyone else in all other relationships. The reason that soulmate games don't work is that your Twin Flame is you; they're one with you, and they will respond just as you do, to love.
When you're looking at soulmates versus Twin Flames, you're looking at someone who's not you, relating to them with transactions like,
"You're supposed to do this,"
or, "The guys are supposed to pursue the girls,"
or, "The man is supposed to take a woman on the date."
Or, the very common: "That person is not supposed to treat me poorly, and because they treated me poorly, they're not my Twin Flame." <—HINT: HUGE GLARING PITFALL HERE!***
I notice so many people start doing the inner work, start practicing the Mirror Exercise, start watching Twin Flame Ascension School, and the moment that their Twin Flame mirrors something unpleasant to them, they start projecting and pointing the finger at their Twin Flame and refusing to resolve what their Twin Flame is showing them, and stop doing the work.
It doesn't work like that.
How does it work?
Jeff and Shaleia continue in the class:
"It works like this: I love Shaleia and myself with my whole heart, and as a result, we're naturally together."
"The same love you feel for your Twin Flame is what keeps them around." You are just working through blocks to that. All you need to do is love them, and that's enough. All you need to do is love yourself, and that's enough.
How do you walk the path of your consciousness to love yourself? By practicing, mastering, and embodying the Teachings of Union, including the Mirror Exercise. This becomes a way of life so that anything in your external reality that doesn't feel good, you can mirror and resolve through practicing this inner work. This inner work is found in all of Twin Flame Ascension School classes.
